LENA DIAMONDS

The intense passion and fire radiating from The Lena™ Diamond is the result of traditional hand carving and an innovative milestone in the way diamonds are cut. An old-world artisan diamond cutter, a member of a family that has hand carved diamonds for generations, pours the skill and tradition of his family into each Lena Diamond. Yet, the Lena Diamond has a contemporary twist that makes it unique among diamonds: the number of facets.
What makes a diamond sparkle?
Diamonds have a natural ability to reflect light. A diamond's natural beauty is enhanced in the skillful hands of an artisan gem cutter. Gem cutters know that light passing through the diamond causes the sparkle, so they cut sides, called facets, into the diamond. When accomplished with precision and symmetry, this allows the diamond to reflect more light.
What makes a Lena Diamond different?
The difference comes from the number of facets cut into the Lena™ Diamond as well as their arrangement.
An average diamond has only 58 facets. However, the Lena Diamond has 90 facets hand cut by a Master Gem Cutter. A Lena Diamond takes nearly three times as long to cut, but the arrangement of the additional sides allows more light to pass through the diamond and reflect back in a dazzling spectacle.
